Removal



1. On vehicles equipped with central locking or electric windows, remove the door trim as described in paragraph 18 and disconnect the corresponding wires or vacuum hoses. Release the twisted hose between the door and the pillar and pull the wires and hoses out of the door.

2. Remove the threaded seal from the door opening limiter (see fig. 29.2), remove the retainer with the washer and, using a punch, knock out the limiter pin.

3. Carefully trace the top and bottom hinge plates onto the post.

4. Support the door, unscrew the two upper and two lower bolts securing the hinge plates to the body pillar (see Fig. 29.4, a, b).

5. Remove the door from the vehicle backwards.



Installation



6. Installation is carried out in the reverse order, however, make sure that the hinge plates match the previously made marks. In order to achieve the same gap around the perimeter of the door and to align the contour of the door panel with the contour of the front wing, you can adjust the hinge plates and the door opening limiter (see fig. 29.6).
