Removal



1. Remove the door lock together with the solenoid from the front or rear doors, whichever is required, as described in paragraph 25 or 27.

2. Carefully pry the plastic cover off the top of the solenoid and lock connecting levers (see fig. 28.2).

3. Press the end of the retainer upwards, then remove it from the inner lock button rod (see fig. 28.3).

4. Remove the lock button rod to release the solenoid control rod and remove the solenoid (see Fig. 28.4, a-c).

5. Installation is carried out in reverse order.
