Removal
1. Using a plastic wedge, very carefully pry the ball on the back surface of the mirror glass out of the plastic socket on the mirror housing (see Fig. 31.1, a, b).

2. If the mirror has electrical heating, disconnect the wire plug from the rear of the mirror glass (see fig. 31.2).

3. Pull the mirror back to release the front adjuster and remove it from the mirror housing.
Installation
4. To install the glass, connect the wire plug where provided, then align the front of the glass with the position regulator (see fig. 31.4).

5. Align the ball head with the socket and press the glass in the center until the ball enters the socket as far as it will go.
