Removal
1. Disconnect the negative battery terminal.
2. Remove the rear seat cushion as described in paragraph 36.
3. Lift the cover on the sound-absorbing box and lift the unit up (see Fig. 39.3, a, b).

4. Disconnect the vacuum hoses and wire plug and remove the unit from the vehicle (see fig. 39.4).

Installation
5. Installation is carried out in reverse order.
