Removal
Attention! After installing the glass, there is no need to adjust the window lifter.
1. Remove the outside rearview mirror, see the relevant chapter.
2. Lower the glass and remove the door trim and its inner seal, see the relevant chapter.
3. Remove the sealing guides 1 from the window opening 2 using a plastic wedge (see illustration). Be careful not to bend the guides.
4. Raise glass 3 so that mounting bolt 4 is accessible through the mounting hole (see illustration). Unscrew the bolt.
Caution: When removing and installing the glass, be careful not to scratch it.
5. Press the glass out of the window regulator support and carefully lower it down, removing it from the guides.
6. Rotate the glass approximately 90° (1/4 turn) and remove it from the door cavity by pushing it upwards.
7. Place the glass so that it will not get scratched or broken.
Installation
8. Rotate the glass approximately 90° (1/4 turn) and in this position install it into the door cavity, lower it down and turn it into the installation position.
9. Inspect the window regulator retainer and replace it if damaged. When installing, lubricate the retainer with multi-purpose grease.
10. Install the glass guides, secure and screw them to the window regulator. Lower the glass.
12. Carefully install the sealing guides onto the window opening.
13. Reinstall the door seal and trim, see the relevant chapter.
14. Install the outside rearview mirror, see the relevant chapter.
