Removal
1. Disconnect the ground (-) wire terminal from the negative battery terminal, after turning off the ignition.
Warning! When you disconnect the battery from the radio, the security code is deleted, as well as all automatic settings on the radio station. If the code is unknown or not written down, then the radio can only be put into operation by resorting to the help of a workshop or the manufacturer of the radio. Therefore, make sure in advance that the code is known.
2. Remove the trim from the rear roof cross member.
3. Unscrew the nut 2 securing the antenna signal amplifier 1, disconnect the electrical wires and remove the amplifier (see illustration).

4. Disconnect the low pressure hose from the central lock actuator.
5. Disconnect the washer hose.
6. Release the wire harness from the holder.
7. Disconnect the connectors on the rear hatch.
8. Remove the rubber grommet from the wiring harness from the bottom of the roof cross member.
Caution: Secure the raised rear door to prevent it from falling.
9. Remove the gas-filled stops from the door, see the relevant chapter.
10. Unscrew the 7 bolts with socket heads, remove the rear door and place it on a suitable pad, such as a blanket (see illustration).

Attention! When replacing the old rear door with a new one or when replacing the door mounting hinge, it is necessary to reinstall the hinges.
Installation
The rear door is installed in the reverse order of removal.
11. Connect the battery ground (-) terminal. The ignition must be off.

12. Enter the security code into the radio and set the clock.
13. Check the gaps between the tailgate and adjacent body parts. Adjust the door if necessary.
