Removal
1. Cars produced since 01/03. Remove the door trim, see the relevant chapter.
2. Remove the cover of the 1 mirror mount by prying it off with a plastic wedge (see illustration).

3. Disconnect plug 2 (see illustration).
4. Hold mirror 3 from falling and unscrew three screws 4 (see illustration 45.3).
Attention! The third screw is not visible in the illustration, as it is covered by the plug housing. 2.
5. Remove the outside mirror.
Installation
The installation of the outside mirror is carried out in the reverse order of removal.
