Removal
6. Move the outside mirror forward when facing the direction of travel.
7. Move the top of the mirror glass back. To do this, turn on the ignition, lower the mirror all the way down and turn off the ignition.
8. Press the locking spring 1 upwards with a screwdriver and remove it from under the protrusion 2 (see illustration).
9. Remove the mirror glass from the support plate.
10. Disconnect the plugs 3 (see illustration).
Installation
11. Install the mirror glass on the support plate, moving it from the bottom up, moving the stop springs 5 to the back side of the plate, and the grips 6 into the receivers 7 (see illustration 45.10).
12. Place the ends of the locking spring behind the retaining tabs on the support plate.
13. Return the outside mirror to its original position and adjust the gap.
