- turn off the ignition;

- open cover 1 (pic. 330) leash supports;
- unscrew the nut 2 fastening the leash;
- remove driver 5 from the spindle. If it cannot be removed, screw the nut back, but not completely, and, by shaking the leash, release it. Make sure that the leash does not hit the windshield. Installation is carried out in the reverse order. Put the leash on the spindle when the latter is in its original position. After installation, make sure that the wiper moves along the established path.
If the wiper arm cannot return to its original position during snowfall, the wiper motor remains energized. Its winding can burn out if the leash remains in this position for a certain period of time. In this case, you need to stop as soon as possible and take the leash away from the glass so that it can return to its original position.
When the leash stops in the middle when the ignition is turned off, this is not a malfunction. When the ignition is switched on, the wiper will return to its original position.
