Disassembly

1. Lightly press pin 3 and remove cylindrical pin 27 using pliers.

2. Remove retaining ring 5 and remove piston 3 together with the secondary seal from housing 22.
3. Remove the floating piston from the housing 22 using pliers.
4. Wipe the case and check the internal surfaces of the case for damage.
5. Wipe all parts with new brake fluid.
Assembly

1. Disconnect sleeve 040 from sleeve 041.
2. Remove the secondary seal and piston from sleeve 041.
3. Secure the housing with 22 holes facing down.
4. Lubricate the housing hole 22 with brake fluid.

5. Insert the sleeve 040 into the hole and press the floating piston 20 until it stops using a screwdriver. When installing the piston, make sure that the guide groove (arrow) is installed vertically.
6. Insert the cylindrical pin and remove the bushing 040.
7. Secure the brake cylinder with the holes facing up.
8. Insert the secondary seal into housing 22 and press it in.

9. Secure piston 7, insert lock plate 8 and secure it with lock ring 5. Make sure that lock ring 5 is correctly positioned in the groove of housing 22.

10. Lubricate plugs 9 with brake fluid and press them into housing 22. Install reservoir 10 with one tube onto housing 22, turn 180° and then install the second tube onto housing 22.
