Disassembly
1. Lightly press pin 3 and remove cylindrical pin 27 with pliers.
2. Remove retaining ring 5 and remove piston 3 together with secondary seal from body 22.
3. Use pliers to remove the floating piston from body 22.
4. Wipe the housing clean and check the internal surfaces of the housing for damage.
5. Wipe all parts with new brake fluid.
Assembly
1. Disconnect bushing 040 from bushing 041.
2. Remove the secondary seal and piston from bushing 041.
3. Fix the body with 22 holes down.
4. Lubricate the housing bore 22 with brake fluid.
5. Insert sleeve 040 into the hole and press the floating piston 20 in until it stops with a screwdriver. When installing the piston, make sure that the guide groove (arrow) installed vertically.
6. Insert cylindrical pin and remove bushing 040.
7. Fix the brake cylinder holes up.
8. Insert the secondary seal into housing 22 and press it in.
9. Attach piston 7, insert stop plate 8 and secure with stop ring 5. Check that stop ring 5 is properly seated in body groove 22.
10. Lubricate plugs 9 with brake fluid and press them into body 22. Install reservoir 10 with one tube on body 22, turn 180°and then install the second tube to body 22.
- Brake Master Cylinder Push Piston Diameter: 25.4mm.
- The diameter of the floating piston of the main brake cylinder: 19.05 mm.
- Displacement of the pushing piston in the main brake cylinder: 17 mm.
- Movement of the floating piston in the main brake cylinder: 15 mm.
