Remove one bolt on each rear wheel.
Jack up and support the rear of the car.
If it is necessary to adjust the cable control system, turn out the adjusting screw at the rear of the chassis floor (brake equalizer), thus removing the cable control. If you only need to adjust the parking brake, do not touch the adjusting screw.

Turn the wheel so that the hole for the bolt is at approximately a 45° angle from the vertical.
Using a 4.5 mm screwdriver, turn the adjusting wheel (22) of the regulator through the hole for the bolt so that when the handbrake is released, the wheel can no longer be turned by hand (the adjustment wheel has 15 teeth). Direction of adjustment: left wheel - from bottom to top, right wheel - from top to bottom.

Turn the adjuster back 2-3 teeth so that the wheel can be turned without jamming.
Adjust the adjusting wheel (22) of the second wheel in the same way.
If the brake cables are loose, turn the brake equalizer adjusting screw until the cables are taut.
Note: The petal on the adjustment screw must always be positioned vertically.
Apply the handbrake several times.
Check if the rear wheels turn easily when the handbrake is off. When the brake is applied one click, a slight braking effect should be felt. If this is not the case, repeat the adjustment.
Replace the wheel bolts, lower the vehicle and tighten the bolts.
