Raise and support the car, remove the wheels.
Measure the thickness of the brake discs. In the workshop, a special tool is used for this (035), since on worn discs appears "crest". The thickness of the disc can be measured with a vernier caliper, however, on both sides of the disc, it is necessary to install a block with a thickness of 3 mm (or one coin). Subtract 6 mm from the measured value to get the true disc thickness.

When the maximum allowable wear is reached, the discs must be replaced.
If there are large cracks or grooves on the discs with a depth of more than 0.5 mm, the discs must be replaced.
