Before working on the generator, please read the following section.
Before performing any work on the generator, it is necessary to remember the following safety precautions:
Never disconnect the battery or regulator while the engine is running.
Never check the operation of the generator by even briefly connecting the excitation winding terminal or its wire to ground.
Do not swap the voltage regulator wires.
The voltage regulator cannot operate if it is connected to ground (immediate damage).
Do not remove the generator unless the battery is disconnected.
When installing the battery, pay attention to the connection of the negative terminal to ground.
Do not use lamps from the lighting network as a control lamp (110 or 220 V). Use only a 12 V lamp as a test lamp.
If the battery is installed in the car, then before connecting it to the charger, you must disconnect both wires. Connect the positive wire of the charger to the positive terminal of the battery and the negative wire to the negative terminal.
Incorrect wiring will damage the rectifier and voltage regulator.
