All vehicles mentioned in this section are equipped with 12 V electrical equipment. The negative terminal of the battery is connected to ground. The battery is located in the engine compartment.
The engine is equipped with a starter with forced engagement of the gear. The starter switch is a component of the ignition switch and turns on the starter relay retractor winding.
The nominal power of the Bosch alternator is 55 A x 12 V = 660 W.
The generator is driven by a V-belt from the engine crankshaft. The charging current is regulated by a regulator.
The instrument panel is equipped with a battery charge indicator lamp, which signals a malfunction of the electrical equipment and the battery charge.
