Remove the inner ring (6) together with the outer bearing rollers from the pivot axle.
Remove the oil seal (4) and remove the inner ring (5) together with the inner bearing rollers.

Knock out or remove the outer ring of the inner bearing from the hub using a puller.
Using a brass or aluminum mandrel, carefully press out the outer ring of the outer bearing.
Check the hub flange runout. Check the condition of the threaded holes for the wheel mounting bolts, the bearing mounting surfaces in the hub and the roller bearings. Roller bearings must be replaced if the following defects are present:
Increased pressure from the outer ends of the tapered rollers on the inner ring, which leads to peeling of the chrome coating.
Corrosion of the working surfaces of the rollers as a result of water ingress due to a defective seal.
The outer ring of the bearing is light brown or blue in color as a result of overheating of the bearing.
Replacement is performed simultaneously for two bearings. It is always necessary to use bearings from the same manufacturer. When reinstalling bearings, it is not allowed to swap rings and rollers with separators.
During installation, perform the following tasks:
Press the outer bearing rings into the hub.
50 g of grease must be placed in the bearings.
Fill the rollers with separators with grease.
Install the inner bearing rings into the hub and fill the end surfaces of the rollers with grease.
Press the seal into the hub and lubricate the working edges.
Place the remaining grease in the hub. If there is a large amount of grease, it will transform and lose its lubricating properties; if there is a small amount of grease, the bearings will not be fully lubricated.
Install the front wheel hub onto the steering knuckle as described in the previous section.
