Removal
Removal the air cleaner cover mounting nuts on a 6-cylinder DOHC engine
Releasing the spring clips holding the air cleaner cover
Lifting the air filter cover
Disconnecting the crankcase ventilation hose
Removal the filter element from the air filter housing
1. Unscrew the air filter cover mounting nuts, then disconnect the spring clips securing the cover (see fig. Unscrewing the air cleaner cover mounting nuts on a 6-cylinder DOHC engine, Releasing the spring clips holding the air cleaner cover).
2. Lift the air cleaner cover, then disconnect the crankcase ventilation hose and remove the filter element (see fig. Lifting the air filter cover, Disconnecting the crankcase ventilation hose, Removing the filter element from the air filter housing).
Installation
1. Installation is performed in the reverse order of removal. Install the filter element in accordance with the marks on its upper part.
