In order for your car to be in excellent condition, it is necessary to carry out its maintenance periodically. Maintenance must be carried out both constantly and at certain intervals, which are listed below. These are the minimum maintenance intervals recommended by management.
If the vehicle is used in severe conditions, particularly in dusty areas, with trailer towing at low speeds, or for short trips, more frequent maintenance is recommended.
Weekly or every 400 km
Check the following items:
- engine oil level;
- coolant level;
- brake fluid level;
- the presence of water in the windshield washer reservoir;
- the condition of the battery, tires, windshield wipers and all light bulbs.
Every 9,000 km
- Change engine oil and oil filter.
Every 18,000 km
In addition to all items for the 9,000 km interval, do the following.
- Change engine oil and oil filter.
- On Station wagon models, check the fluid level in the self-levelling rear suspension control system.
- Check the oil level in the gearbox.
- Check all components under the hood and fluid hoses.
- Check the condition and tension of the auxiliary drive belts.
- Check the refrigerant level in the air conditioning system.
- Check idle speed and lubricate throttle linkage.
- Check steering and suspension components.
- Check up a condition of protective covers of power shafts.
- Check the condition and thickness of the front brake pads.
- Check the condition and thickness of the rear brake pads.
- Check the operation of the hand brake.
- Check the condition of the exhaust system.
- Check the oil level in the main reverse gear.
- Check the condition of the rubber couplings of the cardan shaft.
- Check the condition and operation of the seat belts.
- Lubricate all hinges, locks and electrically operated antenna.
- Check and, if necessary, adjust the headlights.
- Check the operation of the wipers and replace the wiper blades.
Every 58,000 km
In addition to all items for the 18,000 km interval, do the following.
- Replace the air filter element.
- Replace the fuel filter and the filter installed on the fuel pump.
- In an automatic transmission, change the transmission fluid and filter.
- Check the condition of the clutch disc linings.
Every 12 months regardless of mileage
- Change the brake fluid.
Every 3 years regardless of mileage
- Replace coolant.
