Cruise control provides the ability to memorize and maintain any speed constant, from about 40 km / h to almost maximum.
Cruise control is controlled by a lever located next to the multifunction switch lever.
Cruise control should not be engaged if it is impractical to drive at a constant speed (e.g. heavy traffic, lots of curves, slippery or muddy roads).
In the case of an automatic transmission, activating cruise control only makes sense in gear D.
1 - Briefly move the switch to lock the acceleration.
2 - Move the switch briefly to lock the deceleration.
Briefly setting the switch to position 1 or 2 fixes the vehicle speed. The accelerator pedal can be released.
To increase or decrease vehicle speed, move the lever to position 1 or 2 and hold it in this position until the desired speed is reached. Moving the lever again will fix the new speed.
When the lever is briefly moved to position 1 or 2, the vehicle speed increases incrementally by 1 km/h without depressing the accelerator pedal.
3 - Shutdown.
To deactivate the cruise control system, briefly move the lever to position 3.
The cruise control system is also deactivated in the following cases:
- driving speed below 40 km/h or
- the brake pedal is depressed or
- the clutch pedal is depressed or
- the automatic transmission control lever is in position N.
4 - Memorizing the speed of movement.
At vehicle speeds over 40 km/h, the speed is memorized by briefly moving the lever to position 4.
The memorized driving speed is deleted after the ignition is switched off.
Attention! It is possible to accelerate the vehicle by pressing the accelerator pedal. After releasing the accelerator pedal, the previously recorded vehicle speed is set.
