Oil pump parts
1. Remove the spring clip from the oil pickup tube, remove the filter and rubber stand.
2. Mark the position of the mounting bracket, unscrew and remove the bolts from the sensor housing.
3. Separate the casing and remove the driven gear, marking its position.
4. Rinse the parts in kerosene and dry them. Check gears and end caps for wear and if excessive, replace oil pump. If the parts are still usable, replace them in reverse order and tighten the bolts.
5. Bleed the oil pump by turning the drive shaft counterclockwise and pouring oil into the sensor tube.
