1. To ensure maximum service life and minimum interruptions of the repaired engine, it must not only be correctly assembled, but also impeccably clean. All oil passages must be cleaned, and the locking and spring washers must be put in place. When assembling, thoroughly lubricate all bearings and other working surfaces with engine oil.
2. Replace any bolts or studs with damaged threads before beginning assembly.
3. Prepare a torque wrench, oil can, clean rags, a set of engine gaskets and seals, and a new oil filter.
