Periodically clean the outer surface of the generator from dirt and check the reliability of the connector connection. At the same time, check the tension of the drive belt and adjust it.
Be especially careful when making electrical connections to the circuits on your vehicle to avoid damaging the alternator or other electrical components that use semiconductors. Always ensure that the wires are connected correctly to the same terminals on the battery. Before starting repairs (electric welding) work anywhere in the vehicle, disconnect the battery cables and unplug the alternator connector. The battery cables are also disconnected before charging it from the network. Do not allow the alternator to operate with its connector unplugged or battery cables disconnected.
