Removing
Removing the sliding glass front door
1. Remove the power window (see Removal and installation of a mechanical window regulator of a door and Removal and installation of an electric window regulator).
Sedan and station wagon models
1. Install the sliding window against the window frame of the door and unscrew the bolts securing the window guide rails.
2. Remove the inner and outer seals from the top of the door, the outside rear-view mirror from the left door, and the inner facing of the right door. Also remove the molding.
3. Raise the back of the glass, feed it forward and take it out through the top of the doorway.
4. Installation is made in an order, the return to removal. Before tightening the power window guide bolts, fully lower the window, push it forward into the groove while pushing the guide back, and tighten the bolts. Raise the glass completely and loosen the rear groove bolts. Press the glass back into the grooves and tighten the bolts.
Coupe models
1. Remove the inner seals from the top of the door.
2. Loosen the mounting screws and remove the top and bottom stops from the rear guide groove.
3. Turn away the bottom nut and the top bolt, and then remove the back directing groove of glass.
4. Turn away screws of fastening and remove the back directing wedge.

Installation
Installation is made in an order, the return to removal. In this case, adjust the position of the glass as follows.
1. Adjust the position of the front rail holder so that it lightly touches the gasket after the door is closed.
2. Make sure that when the glass is raised, its front edge is aligned with the rail holder.
3. If necessary, adjust the position of the upper stops, grooves and window guides.
4. Lateral adjustment is carried out by guide pins. When the glass is completely lowered, its upper edge should be flush with the seals - adjustment is made by shifting the stop on the window regulator guide.
5. Adjust the position of the guide wedge so that it touches the rear edge of the glass. Finally, apply a small amount of anti-corrosion grease to the inside of the grooves.
