Sedan and station wagon models
1. Remove the rubber plug from the end of the door and remove the two Phillips screws.
2. Move the door handle forward, press the handle and remove the handle assembly.
3. Before installing the handle, tighten the front fastening screws, not tightening them by approximately the thickness of the door sheet metal.
4. Press the handle and insert the handle into place so that the release rod of the lock enters the lock. Tighten the front screw if necessary and adjust the clearance (1.0 mm) drive pin with a socket wrench.
5. Tighten the rear screws and install the rubber plug.
Coupe models
The removal and installation operations are the same as described above, except that in order to access the rear fastening screws, it is necessary to remove the trim of the upper part of the door and remove the seal.
