Models with sedan and station wagon body
1. Remove the rubber plug from the end of the door and remove the two Phillips head screws.
2. Push the door handle forward, press the handle and remove the handle assembly.
3. Before installing the handle, tighten the front mounting screws, leaving them loose by approximately the thickness of the door sheet metal.
4. Press the handle and insert the handle into place so that the lock release rod enters the lock. If necessary, tighten the front screw and adjust the clearance (1.0 mm) of the drive pin with a socket wrench.
5. Tighten the rear screws and install the rubber plug.
Coupe models
The removal and installation operations are the same as described above, except that to access the rear mounting screws, you need to remove the upper door trim and take out the seal.
