1. Carefully inspect the webbing of the seat belts, looking for cuts, fraying, or breakage. If a retractable type seat belt is installed, pull the belt out and check the webbing along its entire length.
2. Fasten and unfasten the belt, making sure that the belt buckle holds the belt securely and opens easily when required. If a retractor type belt is installed, check the operation of the retractor.
3. Check the reliability of all available anchor points for seat belts. Do not remove decorative trims or other parts inside the vehicle.
