Windshield and Headlight Washer System — Checking Condition (Mercedes-Benz C-Class W201)

1. Make sure all the washer jets are clean and a strong stream of fluid flows from the jets. The headlight washer jets should be adjusted so that the fluid stream hits just above the center of the headlight glass. On a windshield washer with two jets, to ensure complete cleaning of the windshield, direct one jet so that the fluid stream hits just above the center of the glass, and the second jet just below. If necessary, adjust the jets with a needle.

2. Mercedes-Benz recommends changing the windscreen wiper blades regularly at the specified intervals, regardless of their condition (see "Weekly check").
