Turbo diesel engines
1. Turn away nuts of fastening of a cover of an air cleaner.
2. Lift the air cleaner cover with packing material. To prevent dirt from entering the airflow meter and/or turbocharger, cover the hole in the center of the air cleaner base.
3. Remove the filter from the air cleaner.
4. Sweep away all traces of dust and debris from inside the air cleaner. Take steps to prevent debris from entering the inlet.
5. Replace the new filter, paying attention to the orientation marks on its edge.
6. Install the packing material and cover, then install the mounting nuts and tighten them securely.
Non-turbo engines
