Removal



1. Remove the air intake pipe of the air filter 1 (see figure 5.45).

1. Air intake pipe,
2. Vacuum tube,
3. Exhaust gas recirculation valve,
4, 7. Bolt,
5. Nut,
6. Heat exchanger,
8. Mixing chamber.


2. Disconnect vacuum tube 2 from exhaust gas recirculation valve mounting bracket 3 and remove it.

3. Unscrew nut 5 securing exhaust gas recirculation valve 3 to heat exchanger 6.

4. Unscrew bolt 7 securing exhaust gas recirculation valve 3 to mixing chamber 8.

5. Disconnect the tubes attached to the EGR valve 3 (only if EGR valve 3 is to be replaced).

Installation



6. Installation is carried out in the reverse order of removal. Replace the gasket between the heat exchanger and the connecting pipes of the EGR valve 3. Replace the nuts 5.
