Disassembly
1. Remove gearbox housing 50. Drain gearbox oil.
2. Fix the reducer in a vise.
3. Detach the back cover 54.
4. Remove retaining ring 30 from both flanges of drive shafts 33.
5. Remove drive shaft flanges 33.
6. Press out the left and right radial seals 32a.
7. Remove retaining rings 29.
8. Insert the pin 046 for the gear differential from the right side and press the differential until it touches the gearbox housing from the left side. Remove both outer races 11a of the roller bearings from the gearbox housing.
9. Remove the differential 13 from the gearbox.
10. Remove both tapered roller bearing inner races 11b from differential 13.
11. Loosen and unscrew the bolts 13a fastening the driven gear of the final drive.
12. Remove the final drive driven gear 47a from the differential 13.
13. Loosen and unscrew the nut 40 of the flange 41.
14. Remove flange 41.
15. Remove the final drive gear 47 from the gearbox.
16. Press the oil seal 42 out of the gearbox.
17. Remove bearing inner race 43d.
18. Remove bearing outer races 46b 43e from gearbox.
19. Remove gasket 45.
20. Remove bushing 44 with gasket 48 from pinion gear.
Examination
1. Check all parts for wear and replace if necessary.
2. Check drive gear 47 and driven gear 47a for matching numbering.
Assembly and adjustment
1. Press bearing inner race 46a onto pinion gear 47.
2. Calculate the thickness of the shim 45 and install it in the gearbox housing.
3. Fit outer bearing races 46b, 43e into the gear housing.
4. Install bushing 44 with spacers 48 on both sides on the drive gear.
5. Install pinion 47 into gearbox 50.
6. Install the bearing inner race 43d on the drive gear and press them together with the radial oil seal 42.
7. Install flange 41 on the drive gear.
8. Tighten nut 40.
9. Adjust the friction torque in the pinion bearing.
10. Check the backlash of the drive gear.
11. Install the driven gear 47a on the differential 13. To do this, heat the driven gear to a temperature of 75-85°C.
12. Press bearing inner race 11b onto differential.
13. Further assembly is carried out in the reverse order of disassembly.
14. Check and adjust the flange backlash.
15. Attach the rear cover 54.
16. Remove the gearbox from the vise.
Installation
1. Install reducer 50.
2. Fill with oil. Oil volume: 1.2 l.
3. Replace breather 55 on back cover 54.
