Removing
1. Remove the drive shaft.
2. Remove the brake disc.
3. Remove the parking brake pads.
4. Remove drive shaft flange 10 (with wheel support installed).
5. Remove retaining ring 9.
6. Remove the angular contact ball bearing 8 from the wheel support.
7. Remove bearing inner race from drive shaft flange.
Examination
Check the axial and radial runout of the flange 10 of the drive shaft. Permissible axial runout of the flange - 0.03 mm, radial runout - 0.03 mm.
Installation
Installation is carried out in the reverse order of removal.
Drive shaft flange
Removing
1. Insert the threaded bolt 010j into the flange 10 from the outside and screw it to the bracket 010g.
2. Install the base plate 010d on the wheel support.
3. Install pressure plate 010f with pressure bolt 010b through bracket and place back on base plate 010d.
4. Install hydraulic press 010h between thrust washer 010f and bracket 010g. Loosen the clamp bolt 010k from the hydraulic press, then the bolt 010i of the bracket until it touches the clamp cylinder of the hydraulic press.
5. Screw in the clamping bolt 010k of the hydraulic press (maximum torque 40 Nm) until the driveshaft flange is removed. Hit the bracket with a hammer (arrow). If this is not enough, remove bolt 010i from the bracket.
Installation
