Note. Differential diameter 210 mm.
Replacing the differential cylinder with automatic locking (differential diameter 210 mm)
30 - Retaining ring; 33b - Flange; 33c - Ball bearing; 50 - Reducer; 54 - Back cover; 56, 56b - Bolts; 70b - Piston; 70d - Rubber boot; 70h, 70j - O-rings
1. Remove the gearbox (50).
2. Drain the gearbox oil.
3. Remove the back cover (54).
4. Disconnect the retaining ring (30).
5. Remove the flange (33b).
6. Remove the ball bearing (33c).
7. Using a screwdriver, press out the rubber boot (70d) from the bearing cover.
8. Insert the puller (07l) into the piston (70b) and remove the sealing ring (70j), remove the rubber boot (70d) from the piston (70b), remove the piston (70b) from the bearing side cover, loosen the breather tube (arrow) .
9. Remove O-rings (70h) And (70i) and don't install them twice. Lubricate the piston thoroughly (70b) hydraulic fluid (specification 343.0) and compress it. Lubricate the breather joint after pressing the piston. When pressing the piston into the bearing side cover, make sure that the grooves are aligned with the roller pin (70c) or hole (arrow).
10. Replace O-ring (70j), - to do this, lubricate the sealing lip with universal hypoid transmission fluid and press it in with a drift (073).
11. Using a small diameter press (072b), press in the rubber boot (70d) on the piston.
12. With a larger diameter press (072a), press in the rubber boot (70d) on the side of the bearing.
13. Further, all procedures are carried out in reverse order.
14. Bleed the differential lock hydraulic system.
