Attention! Do not reuse used brake fluid! Used brake fluid is easily distinguished from fresh brake fluid by its darker color.
Attention! Never drain brake fluid down the drain or dispose of it in household waste containers! Information on the rules for the disposal of technical fluids can be obtained from service stations.
1. Remove the differential lock hydraulic fluid reservoir cap.
a - Location of the tank (1) differential lock hydraulic fluid on models up to 12.2000.
b — Tank location (1) differential lock hydraulic fluid on production models from 12.2000.
2. Using a syringe or a rubber bulb, pump out liquid from the reservoir.
3. Connect a special tract bleeder to the tank and connect the pressure hose.
4. Set the priming device to operating pressure in accordance with the manufacturers instructions.
5. Remove from bleed valve (2) on the slave cylinder of the differential lock drive, pull the hose over the valve, lower the other end into the drain container.
6. Release the valve and keep it open until clean, free of air bubbles, fresh brake fluid begins to flow from the drain hose.
7. Tighten the valve, remove the hose and replace the dust cap.
