Installation
B3 Multi-Disc Brake Disc Arrangement
133b - Internal disk; 133a - Outer disk; 85 - Disc spring; 10 - Brake piston B3
Place the B3 multi-disc brake discs in the order shown in the accompanying illustration and install them separately.
Examination
1. Determine the distance "a" by placing the support (029) on the mating surface. Using a caliper, measure the distance from the outer edge to the spring washer (85).

2. Determine the distance "b" by installing the support (029) on the multi-disc brake piston (arrows). Measure the distance to the gasket (11). The difference between these distances is the gap "L".

3. Adjust the clearance "L" by the thickness of the outer discs (133b) of the brake. The outer discs (133b) are available in the following thicknesses: 2.3, 2.8, 3.3 and 3.8 mm.
4. Lubricate the groove on the drive shaft (67). Install the greased ring (9).
