Removal



1. Remove the drain plug (4a) and drain the ATF.

2. Raise the gearbox.

3. Remove the engine cross member.

4. Remove the rear engine mounts.

5. Remove the exhaust system bracket (10) and the clamp (11) by unscrewing the nuts (7).

6. Disconnect the exhaust system (60) from the rear supports.

7. Unscrew the front propeller shaft (71) from the gearbox.

8. Remove the centrifugal regulator (50).

9. Unscrew the speedometer shaft (9) or the inductive sensor (85a).

10. Remove the flange (64).

11. Remove the gasket (65).

12. Remove the secondary pump (see section Removal, maintenance and installation of the secondary pump (AT up to No.3652931)).

13. Unscrew the bolt (73).

14. Remove the rear gearbox cover (70). The gasket (72) can be installed several times if installed without sealant.

15. Install the gaskets (163) on the output shaft.

Installation



Installation is carried out in the reverse order of removal.
