Removal
1. Remove the lower engine guard.
2. Remove the radiator.
3. Remove the fan clutch.
4. Remove the crankshaft pulley and hub
5. Remove the power steering pump or dual pump.
6. Remove the vacuum pump.
7. Disconnect the negative cable from the battery.
8. Drain the engine oil.
Timing chain cover
6 - Engine retaining bracket; 24 - Engine shock absorber; 28 - Timing chain cover; 35, 36, 51, 66, 67, 115, 116, 132, 417, 420 - Bolts; 42, 44 - TDC sensor bracket; 45 - Pallet; 62, 416 - Bracket; 125 - Cylinder head cover
1. Remove the cylinder head cover (125).
2. Loosen the front fuel filter mounting bolts (116).
3. Unscrew the oil level indicator guide pipe bracket (62).
4. Unscrew the bolt (417) securing the generator bracket (416) and remove it.
5. Mark the installation of the TDC sensor bracket (42) and (44) and unscrew it.
6. Unscrew the engine bracket (6).
7. Loosen the front engine mount mounting bolts.
8. Raise the engine with a lift.
9. Unscrew the bolts (51) securing the tray (45).
10. Lower the engine onto the supports using a hoist.
11. Unscrew the bolts (66) and (67) of the high-pressure fuel pump (HPFP).
12. Unscrew the bolts (115).
13. Loosen the timing chain cover mounting bolts (2B) and remove it.

Installation
Installation is carried out in the reverse order of removal.
