Timing Chain Replacement
1 - Timing chain tensioner; 2 - Old chain; 3 - New chain; 4 - Connecting link
1. Remove the timing chain tensioner (1).
2. Remove the fan clutch.
3. Remove the cylinder head cover.
4. Attach the retainer (01) on the cylinder head with bolts.
5. Cover the top of the chain case with a clean cloth.
6. Screw in the stop spindle (02) together and stubborn finger (02a) to the press (03).
7. Install the press (03) to the timing chain.
8. Screw in the stop spindle (02) until the stop pin exits the opposite side of the connecting link.
9. Press out the thrust pin (02a) from the chain by screwing in the stop spindle.
10. Unscrew the stop spindle (02) and remove the press (03).
11. Remove your finger (1) from the press (03).
12. Attach new chain (5) to the old price (4) with a connecting link (04) and fasten them.
13. Rotate the crankshaft in the direction of rotation and thread the new chain (5).
14. Remove the connecting link (04) and remove the old chain (4).
15. Insert the center plate (2) into the chain and secure it with a link (05).
16. Insert inserts (F5) And (D9) to the press (06).
17. Insert connecting link (3) to a new circuit.
18. Install the press on the chain. Rotate the spindle and press in the connecting link (3) all the way.
19. Remove the press.
20. Install inserts (D8) And (F1) to the press (06).
21. Install the outer plate in the press (magnetic fixation).
22. Press in the outer plate.
23. Flip the insert (D8).
24. Press in the connecting link pins individually.
25. Check the fit (arrows) and, if necessary, repeat it.
