Note: Permissible weight difference of pistons for one engine is 4 g, in case of repair up to 10 g.
Note: Cylinder bores are serially separated by group number. Group numbers: 0; 0+; 1; 1+; 2 and 2+. The group numbers are stamped next to the cylinder bores and on the piston crowns. Cylinder blocks with corresponding pistons are available as spare parts. Pistons with group numbers 0, 1 and 2 are available for repairs.
Note: Permissible difference in weight of pistons in one engine is 8 g, in case of repair - up to 10 g.
Note: Distance between piston crown and cylinder block interface for normal size piston (in brackets - for repair dimensions) in mm.
Control rod 9 mm diameter for guide bushings and exhaust valves No. 116 589 21 00.
Note: After knocking out the bushing, the main bores are not significantly larger than the serial bore, except for replacement motors (those. overhauled in workshops), for which holes have been machined and therefore no longer correspond to serial holes. Guide bushings with a green marking and an overlap of 0.01 to 0.023 mm must not be used, as on occasion, they can weaken. Guide bushings in grey-brown designation can also be fitted instead of slightly loosened bushings without machining the main bore in the cylinder head. Bushings which, after being driven in, must be reamered inside, may only be used when no others are available.
Control measurements are carried out with the selected valve clearance and a valve stroke of 2.00 mm.
