The fuel vapor recovery system consists of a cleaning valve, a thermal valve, one or two carbon canisters and connecting hoses.
The purge valve is located at the rear of the engine compartment on the left side of the bulkhead. The charcoal canister is installed under the left front wheel arch.
Cleaning valve
Removal
1. Label and disconnect the vacuum hoses from the purge valve.
2. Release the purge valve from the mounting bracket and remove it from the engine compartment.
Installation
1. Installation is carried out in the reverse order of removal.
Thermovalve
Removal
1. The thermal valve is installed on the left side of the cylinder head.
2. Perform the work on removing the thermal valve on a cold engine. Partially drain the coolant.
3. Disconnect the vacuum hoses from the thermostatic valve and unscrew the thermostatic valve from the cylinder head. Remove the sealing ring.
Installation
1. Installation is performed in the reverse order of removal. When installing the thermal valve, it is necessary to use a new sealing ring.
