Basic Provisions



1. The main components of the gasoline vapor recovery system are the purge valve, the thermovalve and one or two absorbers (depends on the model), containing activated carbon as well as a set of connecting vacuum hoses.

2. The purge valve is fastened to the left side of the bulkhead at the rear of the engine compartment. The absorber is mounted on a bracket on the left front wheel arch.

4. The thermal valve is screwed into the housing from the left front side of the cylinder head.

5. Make sure the engine is cold, then contact Chapter 1, and partially drain the coolant.

6. Disconnect the vacuum hoses, then unscrew the thermostat valve from the housing and remove the sealing ring.

Installation



7. Installation is carried out in the reverse order. Install a new sealing ring on the thermal valve.
