TFZ ignition system
Removing
Removing the protective cover from the ignition coil
Disconnecting the central high-voltage wire from the ignition coil
Location of the fuse at the top of the ignition coil
1. Remove the ground wire from the battery.
2. Remove the protective cover from the ignition coil and disconnect the central high-voltage wire from the ignition coil (see fig. Removing the protective cover from the ignition coil, Disconnecting the central high-voltage wire from the ignition coil).
3. Unscrew the nuts and disconnect the positive and negative wires from the primary terminals of the ignition coil. Mark the wires before removing them.
4. Unscrew the mounting screws and remove the ignition coil together with the bracket from the inner wing.
5. Check the position of the fuse on top of the ignition coil (see fig. Location of the fuse at the top of the ignition coil). If the fluid in the ignition coil has overheated due to an overload or internal short, the fuse will blow out. In this case, replace the ignition coil and eliminate the cause that caused the failure of the ignition coil.
Installation
1. Installation is made in sequence, return to removal.
