Removal

Removal the distributor rotor from the distributor shaft

1. Remove the distributor cap.

2. Pull and remove the distributor rotor from the distributor shaft (see picture).

3. Check the condition of the metal contacts of the distributor rotor. If there is wear or corrosion, the distributor rotor must be replaced. If there are splits or cracks in the distributor rotor housing, it must also be replaced.

Installation

1. Install the distributor rotor onto the distributor shaft so that the locating protrusion in the distributor rotor hole aligns with the groove on the distributor shaft.
