1. Remove the rear wheel drive shafts.

2. Remove the cardan shaft.

3. Remove the anti-lock brake system (ABS) sensor by unscrewing the mounting bolt with a socket wrench and move it to the side.

4. Disconnect the parking brake cable.

5. Lower the jack trolley slightly and unscrew the nuts securing the rear axle housing to the crossmember.

6. Using caution and two people, lower the rear axle and move it out from under the vehicle.

7. Loosen the mounting bolts and remove the rear suspension bracket from the crankcase cover. Inspect it and replace it if necessary.

8. Installation is carried out in the reverse order of removal. Self-locking bolts and nuts are subject to replacement. Make sure the surface of the ABS electromagnetic sensor is clean and check the oil level (the car is parked on a level surface).
