Checking the longitudinal inclination of the vehicle platform using an electronic inclinometer
VN 5. 028 Front axle level check 1. Electronic inclinometer (086); 2. Inclinometer sensor (086a)
VN 5.029 Checking the level of the rear axle 1. Electronic inclinometer (086); 2. Inclinometer sensor (086a)
After carrying out repair work, vigorously rock the car so that the suspensions take their normal position.
Before measuring and adjusting the wheel alignment angles, check the level of the vehicle platform along the front and rear axles. To do this, use a specialized device called inclinometer.
Vehicle roll is measured at four points (front right and left, rear right and left points).
At the front, the inclinometer is mounted on the suspension arms, at the rear - on the drive shafts of the wheels.
