Removal
1. Remove the pistons.
2. Measure the gap between the rings and the piston grooves (figure 2.42).

3. Remove the piston rings (figure 2.43).

4. Measure the gap between the ends of the rings (figure 2.44).

Installation
5. Installation is carried out in the reverse order of removal.
