2. Check the alignment of mark 1 on the steering gear shaft with mark 2 on the steering gear housing and, if necessary, correct their alignment (figure 6.3). The wheels must be in a straight-ahead position.
3. Check the alignment of mark 3 on the steering knuckle with mark 4 on the steering gear shaft and, if necessary, correct their alignment.
