Removal
1. Turn off the ignition.
2. Disconnect the negative cable from the battery.
3. Remove the R3 airbag and disconnect the R3x1 wiring connector from the airbag (figure 8.4).

Installation
4. Installation is carried out in the reverse order of removal.
