1. Unscrew the air pump filter (4) and remove it.
2. Loosen bolts (15) and (16) and remove the air pump/generator bracket (3).
3. Unscrew the timing chain tensioner. 4. Unscrew bolts (17), (18) and (19) and remove the timing chain cover.

Installation
8 — Sealing rings
20 — Guide bushing
1. Wipe and lubricate with sealant the sealing surfaces (arrow) of the oil line of the timing chain cover (7).
2. Wipe the sealing surfaces of the timing chain cover (7) and the cylinder block. Lubricate the sealing surfaces of the oil line of the timing chain cover (7) with sealant 002 989 73 20 10.
3. Replace the sealing rings (8).
4. Install the timing chain cover (7). 5. Tighten the mounting bolts (17) and (18) first.

6. Check the alignment of the color marks (arrows) on the timing chain and on the camshaft sprockets.

7. Install the timing chain tensioner.
8. Further installation is carried out in the reverse order of removal.
