Slide the mounting sleeve that comes with the new valve seals onto the valve stem.
Lightly lubricate the new seal and push it on by hand.
Remove the mounting sleeve.
Install the mounting rod and slide the valve stem seal onto the valve guide sleeve.
Install the valve springs. Make sure that the rocker arm, pressure device, valve spring plate, valve springs, crackers and cover are installed in their original places, otherwise on 8-cylinder engines the basic position of the hydraulic compensators will change.
Adjust the valve clearance.
