The correct operation of this design element depends on the accuracy of the adjustment, which is not described in the book. In addition, special installation gauges and mounting devices are required to perform the adjustment. The leakage of the hatch is usually caused by clogged drainage drains. They are located at the corners of the opening in the roof. The electric motor of the hatch drive is located behind the front interior light.
Possible malfunctions of the hatch
If the hatch leaks, clear the drains with wire or carefully blow out with compressed air.
If the electric motor does not turn on, first check fuse #4, located in the battery compartment under the rear seat.
If the electric motor still does not work, close the hatch using the emergency closing device (for example, if it's raining).
To do this, remove the left trim of the front light. Insert the lever into the hexagonal hole and turn it with force in the direction shown in Fig. 11.33.
