Details of the installation of the electric motor of the upper hatch drive


1. The installation details of the upper hatch drive electric motor assembly are shown in the illustration, to which all references in the text refer.

2. Remove the interior light assembly (1).

3. Remove the protective trim (2) from the edge of the upper hatch body opening.

4. Disconnect the electrical wiring connector (M12x1) from the electric motor assembly (M12).

5. Unscrew the fastening screws (4) and remove the drive motor assembly (M12) - to provide access to the screws, slightly bend the edges of the ceiling trim panel.

6. Installation is carried out in reverse order.

7. Take the car to a car service workshop to have the sunroof drive synchronized.
