Installation details of the electric motor for the exhaust vent drive


1. The details of the installation of the electric motor for the exhaust vent drive are shown in the accompanying illustration, to which all references in the text refer.

2. Remove the rear roof trim panel.

3. Disconnect the electrical wiring connector and remove the screws (1) securing the drive motor assembly (M21/8 or M21/9).

4. Remove the cover (2) from the guide (3).

5. Remove the drive motor assembly from the guide (3) (M21/8 or M21/9).

6. Installation is carried out in the reverse order - ensure that the spacer sleeve and damper are seated correctly.

7. Finally, turn on the ignition and check the proper functioning of the window drive.
